About Christian Life Assembly
Christian Life Assembly is a Spirit-filled church family committed to helping people know Jesus, grow in faith, and live transformed lives. We exist to love God deeply, love people sincerely, and see lives changed by the power of the gospel.
We believe church is more than a building or a weekly service. It is a community where faith becomes real, worship is heartfelt, prayer is powerful, and people are known, supported, and challenged to grow. Whether you are exploring faith, returning to church, or have followed Jesus for years, there is a place for you at Christian Life Assembly.
One Church, Many Locations
Christian Life Assembly is one church made up of multiple local congregations serving communities across Central New York. We currently have churches in Syracuse, North Syracuse, Auburn, Geneva, Oneida, and Morrisville.
Each location is rooted in its local community and led by dedicated pastors and leaders, while sharing the same heart, vision, and commitment to Scripture, prayer, and Spirit-led worship. While every church has its own personality and serves its city in unique ways, we are united as one body with one mission.
This model reflects the New Testament church, many local gatherings connected together as one family in Christ. Together, we support one another, develop leaders, and work collectively to reach people throughout the region.
Our Heart
Our heart is simple. We want to see people encounter Jesus and experience real transformation. We believe God is still saving, healing, restoring, and calling people into purpose.
We value authentic worship, biblical teaching, and a genuine move of the Holy Spirit. We believe God meets people where they are, but He loves them too much to leave them there.
Our Community
Christian Life Assembly is built on relationships. We believe everyone matters, everyone has value, and everyone has a God-given purpose. Ministry is not reserved for a select few. Every believer is called to grow, serve, and make an impact.
Through worship gatherings, prayer, discipleship, and community life, we strive to create an environment where people are cared for, equipped, and encouraged to live out their faith daily.
Our Mission
Our mission is to reach the lost, disciple believers, and advance the Kingdom of God. Like the early church, we are not content to stay inward-focused or comfortable. We are called to go, to share the gospel, and to demonstrate God’s love and power in practical ways.
We believe the mission of the church has not changed. Until Christ returns, we are committed to continuing the work we see in the book of Acts with passion, purity, and faith.
What We Believe
Christian Life Assembly is an Apostolic church. To be apostolic means we seek to follow Jesus Christ according to the teachings and example of the apostles found in Scripture. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the final authority for faith and life.
We believe the Old Testament points to the coming of the Messiah, and the New Testament reveals Jesus Christ as God manifested in flesh, establishing a new covenant through His death, burial, and resurrection. Salvation is experienced through repentance, baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit, as taught in Acts 2:38.
We believe the church is called to live holy, set apart for God’s purpose, while still engaging the world with love and compassion. We believe in devotion to prayer, commitment to biblical teaching, and obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
We believe the power and love of God are still at work today. Lives are changed, hearts are healed, and faith is strengthened through the work of the Holy Spirit, and the fruit of that work should be evident in the lives of believers.
Our Hope
We believe God is still calling people to partner with Him on earth. Until we all come into unity of faith and maturity in Christ, we will continue to pursue Him with passion, serve one another with humility, and share the hope of Jesus with our communities and beyond.
