21 Days of Transformation
CLA Fast 2026
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus!
While seeking the Lord for direction for our upcoming time of prayer and fasting in January, the Lord impressed on me specifically for CLA to use this time to be personally transformed into the image of Christ. He put in my heart not to look to do more, see more things happen, add souls to the kingdom, fill the calendar, or any other ministry related feat. But to just “Be with Him”. These are all good and necessary, but they will flow from the place of “knowing Him”.
The scriptures tell us to “redeem the time because the days are evil”. The culture of our day is to be so consumed and busy with “good stuff” that we miss the most needful thing: To sit at the feet of Jesus. During the month of January, we’re going to redeem the time. Claim back the time that life, culture, the world, and the enemy has stolen from us and give it to Jesus. Abide in Him. Quiet the fleshly mind and just wait on the Lord. Shutdown social media distractions. Wrestle your mind away from fruitless entertainment and put it on the Lord. Use every available moment, minute, hour, day, break, and free time to be with Jesus in the Spirit.
We’re not trying to do more…we want to “Be more”. Do less, stop, rest, abide, fellowship with Him. Silence the phone. Abstain from news feeds, posts, reels, videos…and present yourself to Jesus.
Work your job with Jesus. Drive, walk, commute with Him. Talk to Him, sing to Him. Pray in the Spirit. Read the scriptures. Listen to the scriptures. Hear Him.
Train ourselves to lean into Jesus and not the world. Bring your body into subjection to the Spirit. Discipline ourselves. Humble ourselves. Submit ourselves. Yield to Him. Present ourselves to Him. For these next 21 days, determine to spend as much time as possible in communion, fellowship, and prayer with Jesus through the Spirit.
What do we talk to Him about during all this time?
Being transformed into His image. Putting off the old and putting on the new man. Asking, seeking, knocking and believing for His righteousness. Becoming love. As we spend time in His presence, He will change us. It won’t be our “trying”, but His grace at work through us.
Pray the scriptures.
Pray 1 Corinthians 13:1-7, Ephesians 4:22- 6:18, Colossians 3:1- 4:6, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-7, James 4:7-10, 1 Peter 2:1 – 5:11, 2 Peter 1:3-11

Week 1 – Jan 1-4: Prepare mind & body to fast.
Romans 12:1 -2 “I beseech you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God”
Week 2 – Jan 5 – 10: Absolute, One Meal a Day, or Daniel Fast (Based on whole foods, plant-based diet, no processed foods, no sugar. Primarily raw vegetables, fruit, whole grains, and water.) Abide in Him.
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Week 3 – Jan 11 – 17: Absolute, One Meal a Day, or Daniel Fast (Based on whole foods, plant-based diet, no processed foods, no sugar. Primarily raw vegetables, fruit, whole grains, and water.) Be with Him.
Now it happened as they went that He entered a certain village; and a certain woman named Martha welcomed Him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus’ feet and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving, and she approached Him and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Therefore tell her to help me.”
And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.”
Week 4 – Jan 18 – 24: Daniel Fast (Based on whole foods, plant-based diet, no processed foods, no sugar. Primarily raw vegetables, fruit, whole grains, and water.) or 1 Meal a day
